An optimistic meditation on puppy raising for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and other adventures in chaos. Murphy (Wella x Farrell), the first pup we raised, is a male black Lab who graduated in June 2007 and is working as a guide dog in Wyoming. The second pup, Nettie (Quarry x Evan), a female yellow Lab, arrived in mid-February 2007 at 6 months old and stayed with us for a year. She graduated in August 2008 and is working as a guide dog in Kansas.

If that's Murphy, then he got that from his dad as well! When Indiana went to stay at their house while we went away, I gave him a Kong tug to share with Farrell. His foster said it lasted about 1 minute. So much for indestructible...
