A beautiful story
I came across this beautiful article online about the experience of a reporter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram as she retired her first guide and got her second.
It resonated with me -- both as a fellow journalist, and because both Murphy and Nettie were the second guides for Lance and Rachel, and I know it was a bittersweet time for them.

Hi Angie,
Thank you for sharing this article! I can relate to this person a lot in regards to deciding on getting a guide dog. It really took me forever... If I had made up my mind sooner, I would have been on a second or third dog by now!

WOW, that's a really neat article. Runza is Bill's second dog too and I know that was a huge transition that they are still working on. No Nettie sightings yet - but hopefully soon.

That is such a beautiful article. Thank you for sharing it. I too feel a sense of connection with the author as each of my dogs has been the second guide dog for their respective graduates. It is such a gigantic transition that I know of almost first hand as Morks first match did not work out in part to having trouble transitioning from the first guide to the second. anyways...thanks again for sharing.
