Excellent ideas in theory...

A technique that GEB often recommends is having kibble in cups throughout your house, so you can reward quickly and work in quick training moments.

Having spent a good amount of time picking kibble out of the sofa bed and vacuuming deep within its bowels to make sure I got all the crumbs (lest Nettie develop a yen to climb on it), I still think it's an excellent idea -- but one that probably works better in houses that do not have 6-year-old boys.

  • What I find that works is using old margarine containers or peanut butter jars. They all have lids on them, so no spilling, but still makes it convenient for those training opportunities!

  • That is a good idea. And, your probably right - might work better without the young boys! ;)

  • LMAO - perhaps one of those little belt loop bags handlers use at dog shows for their treats?
